    Summer League 2020

FOR 1ST-4TH GRADE BOYS AND GIRLS

This summer Crispin Basketball is offering a 3-on-3 basketball league for boys and girls entering Grades 1-4 at Total Turf.

Each age group of the league will consist of 6 teams of 6 players (enrollment will be capped at 36 in order to maximize playing time for each child). There will be 10 sessions from July 13 to August 12. Each session consists of a short warm-up time and approximately 48 minutes (2 24 minute halves) of 3-on-3 “Full court” play.

Teams will play each Monday and Wednesday at either 5:00pm or 6:00pm.

The cost for the season is $135. Those who have never played in one of our leagues and do not have a reversible navy and white Crispin Basketball jersey will also need to purchase that.

* Jersey orders must be received by June 1 in order to have them for the first game.

** Refunds only given up to 3 weeks before the event.

FOR 5TH-9TH GRADE BOYS

There will be two separate leagues for two age groups (5th-6th and 7th-9th).

The league will run from July 13 through August 12 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00-8:00pm (games at 5:00pm, 6:00pm or 7:00pm).  A player may be moved up or down a league for the best playing experience (for example, an advanced 6th grader may play with the 7th-9th grade league).

Players may enter individually and be placed on a team or a team may enter the league by creating a group for your team.

Each game will consist of 4 12 minute quarters. Two of those quarters will be played 4-on-4 and two played 5-on-5. All four quarters will be played with a 24 second shot-clock and man-to-man defense. The emphasis is on free-flowing and creative play. Keeping score for two quarters is optional and agreed upon by the teams before play. There are no standings or championships. Summer time is the best time to be creative and to play in a different setting and in a different way!

** Please do not register for a team unless a coach has told you to register for that team.

The cost for the 10 session season is $145.  Those who do not have a reversible navy and white Crispin Basketball jersey will also need to purchase that,

* Refunds only given up to 3 weeks before the event.

* Jersey orders must be received by June 1 to be guaranteed for first game.

Client Testimonials

We want to thank all of you for a wonderful spring season. Our whole family is excited about Joey being a part of the Crispin Basketball program.

Joey has spent most of the last few winters with some sort of cough, cold, or infection, that has restricted his time out on the basketball court. When he was out there, he wasn’t able to have fun. That was NOT the case this past month. He looked forward to practice and loved the games/tournaments. He enjoyed every minute of this spring season and cannot wait to start the summer league. He will have surgery in 10 days, but he is already making plans to get back out on the court afterwards. Saying “He had a lot of fun” does not accurately describe this past month for Joey.  READ MORE >

SON PLAYED ON 5TH GRADE CLUB TEAM

Our family has nothing but positive things to say about our experience with the Crispin Basketball program.  Everything from the quality of the training and coaching staff, the training atmosphere, opportunity to work with members of the Rowan basketball team, information sharing with the parents, etc., was top notch.  For the past three years, we’ve had a seldom used basketball hoop in the driveway and basketball was just another winter activity. Upon joining the club, Zach took the initiative to try to get better on his own, applying what he learned during his training sessions even when the weather conditions were less than ideal.  While it’s too soon to predict the type of basketball player he might become, he definitely developed a greater appreciation and love for the game at a time when he was contemplating giving up the sport for good. SON PLAYED ON 5TH GRADE CLUB TEAM

As parents, we truly appreciate the care and thought that goes into the Crispin Basketball program. It is really refreshing to find a high-level basketball program that has the best interest of kids at heart – not only developing skills, a basketball IQ, and a love for the game, but most importantly character.

Also, it’s difficult to match the wealth of experience and knowledge of Crispin Basketball! Your coaches have coached and played at the highest levels and know the game inside-out. Unlike a lot of coaches and basketball programs that focus on winning at any cost, Crispin Basketball takes the “long view” and gives kids every opportunity to develop their skills and become smart, fundamentally-sound, hard-working, well-rounded, team-oriented players.  READ MORE >
